Trail quality is good however trail marking is terrible at best. If first time riding here, join a local and you will have alot of fun.
Once I found it, it was like finding a secret treasure! I only spent a few moments here but will be back 🤩
The bit of trail I walked was fairly easy (I'm not super active) and was there in time for a train to go by. Can you say loud?
More to explore! …
A beautiful forest are, really sensitive had wildlife especially snakes and other crawlers. There used to be big beaver dam which was washed away in a recent flood. Has good trail with a jungle feeling.
Great forest! A lot of twists and turns and trails to keep you occupied all year long. Depending on which parking lot you choose, you are faces with new trails and challenges. Note that some of these trails actually end up merging with the Horseshoe Valley hiking/biking trails.
Absolutely perfect. I would return every single day if I lived in the area. Thankfully this forest has much to offer and will be returning very soon. Entering for all access points are absolutely beautiful and perfect to navigate!
Horses, bikes, and people have all be able to access these trails.
Great place to hike or bike. Lots of trails to choose from, not too difficult. Will be back to check out more of the trails!
Beautifully secluded forest, perfect for winter hiking/snowshoeing. The landscapes are fascinating with vast lands of just snow and trees.
Parking is limited (only 10 or so) , wish it was bigger and wish the access roads have proper winter maintenance. One of our cars got stuck in ice right in the parking lot.
Very nice forest and trail. Parking lot is a little bit small. Went there in spring. Quiet and peaceful. Design for everyone to play. There are train tracks at the entrance, you will hear train whistle when the train is passing. Trail map and guidepost is clearly. You won’t get lost in here. Best for walking, hiking, and biking. You won’t get wrong for choosing here. Will come here often.
